Plants to Pulp, Pulp to Paper
In this class we will be taking plant material, whether it be from your garden or backyard, a field, or plant fiber that we order, and we will transform it into paper. Together we will go through the entire process of turning plants into paper starting with harvesting and drying, cutting, cooking, rinsing, beating, and finally pulling sheets of paper from the pulp. We will create beautiful handmade sheets of paper from at least 3 different plant fibers. This process requires a time commitment and demands patience but it is all worth it!
